Elfi's talent and drive is a gift inherited from her father, a master builder.  From him she learned everything from codes and structural integrities to working in the field and dealing with building departments.

As only one of a few women in the industry when she started, she had to know her field better than men in order to gain the trust of her clients. Thus, constantly seeking to increase her knowledge base, she hired Architectural students to teach her design techniques.  She asorbed their instruction like a sponge and was soon developing own designs and plans.

Eventually, she discovered that she loved designing more than contracting. So, several years ago she decided focus solely on the art and craft of designing.  "I love creating a new outdoor environment for my homeowners," she beams, "and making their home a vacation place they can enjoy year round."
